Scenario :
You have developed a simple and beautiful website in sites.google.com. Google web hosting is free as you all know by now. Now you have learnt about other hosting services like AWS, Godaddy, GCP, wordpress and would like to host your site in one of these services( new things are always exciting :) ). Rather than developing from the scratch, you just want to move your website completely to new hosting services. It includes your complete website along with all the static contents and associated html pages,
Here is how you do it :
- Login to drive.google.com
- Create a new folder
- 'Move 'your google site to that Folder
- Go to takeout.google.com
- Select the "Deselect all" option
- Choose Google Drive from there choose the folder where you moved the Google Site using the option ¨All Drive Data included¨
- Go to next step
- Customized your Archive format
- Then create ArchiveOnce the archive has been created proceed with download.
